My daughter has been with Jen for over 1 year now and her progress has been amazing! She's reading mandarin and trying to write chinese characters. Jen is very personal and loving with her and this one on one fun experience has been incredible!!! My daughter lights up when she sees Jen and easily engages in class. Learning with fun mixed totally worked for very active my 5 year old.

I took lessons with Jen Jen for almost a year and can that she is hands down the best Mandarin Chinese teacher I've ever worked with. I took a year of Mandarin in graduate school and a few lessons thereafter, but never quite reached the level of fluency I had been looking for. After two months of lessons with Jen Jen, I had covered all the material I learned in the past and was well beyond any where I thought would be possible. What set her classes apart from the others I've taken is her focus on pronounciation, syntax, and vocabulary all at once. I never felt bogged down in beginning by several lessons of achieving perfect tones (which a good deal of curricula focus on), but rather learned pronounciation through conversation and grammar. I came out of the year with the ability to live and work in China, which was a very special gift.

JenJen is an outstanding teacher in Chinese language. She worked with my son for just over a year and I watched him quickly progress. She makes the lessons fun and different each week, yet full of the necessary language essentials to really get him speaking. My son was always excited each week for his lessons. Her classes are money well-spent and truly valuable in getting a child to learn a language and stick with it all the way through.

Jen Jen teachs my 7 year old grandson Chinese. Not to mention her pronunciation( I'm a Chinese) the material she prepared, the tools she used, always on time and a lot more good quality. The best part I like about her, she makes the class interesting, a 7 year old boy after a full school day can sit another hour with her, you know she must be good. After class she made him to put all the stuff they'd used back to where they belong-good habit, besides teaching Chinese she also a good influence and more. It has been more than half a year, they have finished almost 2 books and my grandson is still very interested to learn. I think she's done a superb job,

My experience with Jen Jen has been terrific!! My 11 year old daughter really looks forward to her lessons, and has been advancing at a super quick pace. Besides the fact that Jen Jen is a warm and caring person, she is a first class Chinese teacher. She is always on time and makes the lessons fun and age appropriate. She seems to focus equally on textbook and conversation, providing a nice balance to the class. Choosing this class for my daughter was a great choice, but getting Jen Jen for her teacher was the icing on the cake.

Ms. JenJen is a wonderful teacher. She is very punctual and energetic. She also is well prepared for class with material that is relevant to the level of learning. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to learn Chinese. We hired her for our oldest child and our younger one wants to learn because she sees how fun the class can be.

Terrific teacher!! Learning Mandarin is no doubt difficult, but JenJen is dynamic and fun making this challenging subject a joy to learn.

My daughter has to pass the High school Chinese class exam. JenJen's teach method is very effective, she focus on what she needs.My daughter is in Nova now, I really appreciate JenJen's help. 

Ms. Jen was wonderful with both of my girls. She was enthusiastic and encouraging, and engaged with them at their level. They left each session excited about what they had learned and looking forward to next time. She created individual programs for each of them in such a way that allowed them to support each other and practice together and the Homework was age appropriate and purposeful. We are so thankful for our experience!

JenJen is a phenomenal Chinese teacher. In our 8 months together, we have gone from zero knowledge in Chinese to reading, writing, and using it daily in conversation. This would not have been possible without JenJen. She is professional, funny, and has a creative way of making learning possible and fun. I feel very lucky to have JenJen as a teacher and would highly recommend her to anyone who is trying to learn the Chinese language.
